What happens when God promises you so much but nothing seems forthcoming? What should be the condition of your heart if you have waited on God or rather held on to the promises of God yet He seems not to comethrough? Does it mean that God is a liar? Do we assume that the promise was just meant to excite you for a few months then,no manifestation thereof? How do you prove to the world or even ur peers that indeed you heard from God and that though it tarries,it shall surely come to pass?Where do you draw the confidence of moving on amidst the shame or the discomfort?Seasons have come and gone but you still hold on to God.(Psalms 71;5) For thou art my hope, O Lord God : thou art my trust from my youth. Its been long Dear ones.Im sure we are well. welcome to this platform we learn and hear what the lord has kept in store for us.Its almost mid year 2019 and im sure all of us can attest to the faithfulness of God.There was a time all of us were really pleading with God for the gift of rains,and look how God has been gracious!He never counted the many times some of us ranted in social media blaming others for the lack of rain whilst others carelessly said that Kenya is cursed..But who is God?He is full of compassion.He is always kind and faithful to us. Over the past two months,ive been reflecting on how much it takes for one to be content.Paul says that contentment with Godliness is great gain.But how many of us are really content?What exactly does it mean to wait on God?Not that all your prayers are answered,neither are you settling for mediocrity.But that aspect of being content even with many unanswered prayers an still trusting in God for open doors in whatever it is you want...

Its exactly three days to the close of this year,how great is our God!Finally 2018 has already packed its bags in readiness to exit.The sorrow,the pain,the worries,the snares,the anxiety,the troubles,the struggles,the frustrations and anything that caused us pain is finally exiting.We all have a reason to thank God for everything  that happened in our lives this year.It may seem ironic but the bible commands us to give thanks in everything as well as rejoice always.It doesnt specify on what occassion we should give thanks or rejoice. He changes times and seasons; he deposes kings and raises up others. He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to the discerning(Dan 2;21).This God does great and mighty things.Whilst others maybe surprising to us,to Him,they are according to His plan.They are in His to do list.Who thought that it'd be so cold in Nairobi at such a time after enjoying the sweet sun on Monday and whoa!on Tuesday everyone is making coffee to just keep warm.
