Tarry,Do not Relent
He changes times and seasons; he deposes kings and raises up others. He
gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to the discerning(Dan 2;21).This God does great and mighty things.Whilst others maybe surprising to us,to Him,they are according to His plan. They are in His to do list.Who thought that it'd be so cold in Nairobi at such a time after enjoying the sweet sun on Monday and whoa!on Tuesday everyone is making coffee to just keep warm.
He does great things and unsearchable, marvelous things without number(Job 5;9)It is a miracle being alive today.Enjoying good health and the very many things that seem ordinary and normal to us.By virtue of you being how you are now,it has taken the grace of God.Im reminded that its only two months to the close of 2018.We are already packing our bags headed to 2019.Many of us cant wait to see what the year ahead has in store of us.Theres a group of people who if by any chance had the power and authority to just fold this year and dump it,they'd have done it as early as July. They have gone through a series of painful issues in this year.Tears have been their food day and night.Though the pain is gone, the scars left behind are as well painful.
Who knew that the economy of Kenya would be the way it is five years ago?Does this mean that God didn't know that yes, there will be tough economic conditions? When prophecies were given at the beginning of this year, did anyone tell us that at some point things will seem to be going south? What happens to this person who knows the lord?I personally feel that these are the days whereby the just shall live by faith.Living according to the word of God,not by sight but by faith...Purely depending on the grace of God to take us through.
This may not make sense to many.No one can actually understand their situations,But God......This God who calls things that are not as thou they are. This who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above what we can ask or imagine. It doesn't matter what perception the society has of you..But against all odds, you are still a child of God.What matters is the choices that you make.Im amazed by some ladies in the book of Numbers 27.The Zelophehad daughters. These ladies defied all protocols and procedures so that they could receive their fathers inheritance.
3 Our father died in the wilderness, and he was not in the company of them that gathered themselves together against the Lord in the company of Korah; but died in his own sin, and had no sons.
4 Why should the name of our father be done away from among his family, because he hath no son? Give unto us therefore a possession among the brethren of our father.
5 And Moses brought their cause before the Lord.
6 And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,
7 The daughters of Zelophehad speak right: thou shalt surely give them a possession of an inheritance among their father's brethren; and thou shalt cause the inheritance of their father to pass unto them.
8 And thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel, saying, If a man die, and have no son, then ye shall cause his inheritance to pass unto his daughter.
9 And if he have no daughter, then ye shall give his inheritance unto his brethren.
These ladies presented their case before Moses, and even before the priest. They went ahead to even explain that their father died out of his own sins and now that they had no brother and according to the customs then, ladies were not eligible for their fathers inheritance. They wanted Moses to give them their fathers inheritance. It didn't matter to them what had been said or who had said what, all they wanted was an inheritance. The bible says that not only did they receive what they wanted, but they opened a way to many others who were suffering under that rule.God himself allowed daughters to be given their fathers inheritance.
What is it that you want from the father but circumstances are pulling you down to confidently approach the throne of grace?Talk to God,do not give up,it doesnt matter how many times you have prayed about that issue, keep pressing on.Persist.call on the lord.Do not relent,This God who answers prayers, all men will come to Him(Psalm 65;2)David knew that He(God)answers prayers
Suppose the widow in luke 18 gave up,would she ever receive what she wanted?would the judge ever take a keen thought of her issues?it is through persistence that this widow was sorted out.It doesnt matter the remaining time to the close of this year, what matters is that Theres a God in heaven who aint controlled by times and seasons..His calendar is totally different from our calender. He is able to turn the situation around for you.He is able to sort that family issue for you.He is able to set your husband free,He is able to Heal,He can open a job opportunity for you even when you feel like nothing is forthcoming. He is able to connect you to that man or woman that you've been trusting Him for.He is the God of all creation,is there anything too hard for him?(Jer 32;17)
This write up is purely to encourage you to push.Yes tarry at the place of prayer. It doesnt matter the tears,oh,keep calling, yes keep knocking, keep seeking,You knever know..you could be very close to your breakthrough.Remember the devil will always bring in discouraging thoughts, thoughts of giving up but by virtue of you being alive,is reason enough that yes,He who started a good work in you is faithful enough to accomplish. You are a work in progress,Much as you cant see it now,The lord laid down the plan for your life long time ago.You are on his agenda..(Jer 29;11)He is not a careless God.He will carry you through this season. He is careful enough to hold you by His righteous right hand.
Will you wake up,lengthen your cords and strengthen your stakes.?Enlarge the place of your tents.(Isaiah 54;2-4)The lord is clear in his word,He will not let you suffer shame.Take a step of faith and keep trusting in God.Being confident that He who watches over israel never sleeps nor slumber,In His timing,he will make everything beautiful.

Numbers 27 King James Version (KJV
27 Then
came the daughters of Zelophehad, the son of Hepher, the son of Gilead,
the son of Machir, the son of Manasseh, of the families of Manasseh the
son of Joseph: and these are the names of his daughters; Mahlah, Noah,
and Hoglah, and Milcah, and Tirzah.
2 And
they stood before Moses, and before Eleazar the priest, and before the
princes and all the congregation, by the door of the tabernacle of the
congregation, saying,3 Our father died in the wilderness, and he was not in the company of them that gathered themselves together against the Lord in the company of Korah; but died in his own sin, and had no sons.
