ITS THE SIMPLE THINGS THAT MATTER.

What a privilege to end the month of January healthy,blessed and hopeful of greater days ahead!you will concur with me that thus far the lord has helped us,blessed be the name of the Lord.As the month of January comes to an end,what have you learnt?what have you purposed to change and what are you working on?

Well,personally i have learnt quite a number of things.i have been challenged as well as equipped to embrace even more .It is said that a nation without a vision,people perish.its my prayer that even as a person you have a vision or a purpose that you are trying to live or  pursue.Remember all of us shall give an account of how we used our talents and the opportunities that God gave us .We are to all present results of how we nurtured whatever the lord entrusted to us as stewards.

People strive to get titles,fame.recognition,places of honor to an extent some use dubious means to just make sure they are on the lime light.This is very evident even in our country.The reason many men and women of God are trading their annointing for fame,many people trying their best to create a name for themselves.At times i wonder what is in the mind of God when he  watches over us..oh God have mercy!in my strive to find out how people get to rub shoulders with the high and mighty,i came across prov 18;16 A man’s gift makes room for him and brings him before the great.

 The lord has put greatness in each one of us.There is a seed of God in all of us.That talent is what will genuinely make a way for you.its actually the simple things that you do with that gift that will pave way for you.How many of us are great intercessors yet we selfishly hide our talents,selfish to an extent of disobeying God while he leads us to pray for others?.Im sure quite a number are born worshipers,but how many times have you ever bothered assisting the praise and worship team in church?Many times we seat back,watch as things go wrong,later on we are the best at pointing fingers to people-Lord help us!.Majority of us are givers,but we hold back,besides,it all belongs to us!(What an attitude☺☺)

 I  listened to someone give a testimony of how a widow helped him with 300 shillings.From that,he has grown to being a millionaire.He narrates how the widow prayed for that money and warned him that once the lord elevates him,he should be very careful not to forget his humble beginnings as well as take credit for himself.

 Majority of us are missing it because little has God blessed us than we all take to social media narrating how we are good planners,how well we layed strategies and how much it cost us to hire men of honor to audit and monitor progress to ensure that we are still on track.if you fall in this category,go back to God and repent!
As we enter into the second month of 2017,purpose to touch someones life.purpose to use what God has given you to make an impact.its the simple things that matter. like saying hi to that security guy,encouraging someone who is going through a wilderness,praying for someone,supporting that brother or sister with the wedding plans,visiting that sick person in the hospital,praying with that couple who has trusted God for so long and it seems like the heavens are on holiday.Mentoring that teenager,counseling that domestic manager that you have employed and it seems like shes almost giving up in life.promoting your long time friend who has just ventured into business as well as encouraging that person who has been swept by the wind of retrenchment at their work place and much more.

Finally brethren,never forget that you are a precious jewel in the sight of God-isaiah 43;4.you are an apple of his eye,he loves you!you are honored in his sight.He longs to be gracious to you and he has put very authentic plans in place for you,to give you not only a future but a hope.
