Hey good people.Its been long!Be sure ive missed you so much.Im glad a number of you kept me on toes in matters this blog.Thank you for your emails,messages and even calls.The lord bless you so much.This blog wouldnt make sense if none of you spared their time to read.It wouldnt make an impact if none of you shared with a friend,a coleague or even a spouse.Im equally humbled for your prayers,concern and love.

We are in the second half of 2018!How time flies!Im sure towards the end of 2017 most of us received prophecies in regards to this year.Most of us made declarations pertaining this very year.How about making resolutions!A number of us planned aout so many things.Allow me to ask a question.How far are you in those resolutions?Have you experienced what God promised you in regards to 2018?Have you embarked on the journey of change?Dropping what dragged you behind in 2017 and picking what will help you forge forward in matters life.How far are you in eliminating and disconnecting yourself from that bad company?

To those of us who planned to shed afew pounds,how far are we?Are we still doing junk and carbs yet expecting to be fit as fiddle?My friends who purposed to read the entire bible this year,how far are you guys?

It is at such a time that if you are not properly grounded on the word of God,chances of you missing your God given opportunity are high.A season whereby things seem to happen so fast that before you know it,so much lies in your to do list.Plans not executed and issues not handled as and at when you intended to.I have a word for you this morning,there is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens.This doesn't mean that you can continue procrastinating.but then you also do not have to kill yourself over what you didn't do or who has done what and left you behind.

Many a times believers find themselves in a season whereby things seem not to be falling in place.The temptation to compare yourself to the other person becomes inevitable.This is the season whereby scriptures no longer make sense to you.A time when neglecting the fellowship of believers becomes a nonissue to you.You can miss church and still that do not bother you.You do not read the word of God and still life moves on anyway!This is a season that caught up with Elijah the great prophet under the juniper tree(1st kings 19;5)He felt that it would be better if he died but then,God was not yet done with him.

You could be going through a season of questioning God.Everything seems not to make sense now.You have trusted in God for so long and you feel like hes on a vacation.You have walked in this journey of faith and the road seems very slippery.You had so much hope that by June 2018 you would have secured a job,left peoples houses and start living on your own as an independent Kenyan.Looking back,theas nothing to rejoice about,you are still a liability.You have been hosted by people for quite along time now.You have made calls here and there for atleast a friend or a relative to sort you with a few coins and you feel that this is getting too much.You never expected this.In your plans,this kind of struggle never featured anywhere.You are a believer,you know that Gods timing is the best but now,t seems like you have overstayed in this mountain for so long.Hold on to God dear one,He has written your name on the palms of His hands.He knows you by your names....and when it is time,He is going to do it swiftly(Isaiah 60;22b).

You got into that marriage with so much enthusiasm.Everything was so promising.You were so sure you heard God right.It was the best decision you made.You didnt lead yourself,you walked with God every step of the way.Whatever is happening now,you do not even understand.You no longer have the grace to pray.All you do is question God.Just like david in psalm 42;3..tears have been your food day and night.You thought 2018 would be your best year...this seems opposite.Theres hope in christ.Its usually darkest when its almost dawn.You may not feel like it,there may be no signs to your dawn..but look here dear one,His ways are not our ways,neither are his thoughts our thoughts.A touch of his mercies can push you so many miles ahead.Continue leaning on God.He didnt call you to leave you wandering in this desert of struggles,frustrations and difficulties,He is God all by himself.

At such a time whereby most companies are closing down.The industry seems shaky.The terms of permanent and pensionable jobs lost meaning long time ago.Just when you felt its ur time to climb the career ladder,ur employer issued you a retrenchment letter...your position in the company as far as they are concerned was declared redundant!All your hope has faded.its total darkness.so many thoughts running in your mind.You do not know where to turn to.You are at that state of questioning the faithfulness of God.He promised to walk with you till the end of age.He actually affirms that even in old age,He will still walk with you..(isaiah 46;4)But as far as you are concerned,if He cared that much,he wouldnt have allowed you to go through such pain.Does this God really care?YES HE DOES!.His understanding no man can fathom. .He knows why you are the candidate of this pain.He knows that only you can contain that.

Job in the bible went through a painful season.He experienced almost a similar season to what you could be going through.Remember this is the very man whose testimony is written in job chapter one.He was an upright man,blameless before God.He feared God and abstained from Evil.This is the same guy who would offer sacrifices to God on behalf of his kids(job1;5)He wanted to be in right standing with God even in matters family.This very man went through issues to a point he felt that God was taking Him for a ride.He had the audacity to question God (job 38).This chapter awes me.I love verse 10.The lord is asking Job if he even has a hint of the limits of the sea!
when I fixed limits for it
    and set its doors and bars in place,
¹¹ when I said, ‘This far you may come and no farther;
    here is where your proud waves halt’?

Just try to figure out a sea or an ocean.The lord has got power to tell it how far it should go...and up to what level.This very God has the authority and the power to halt every storm you could be experiencing.He could have allowed the storms that seems so raging over your life but imagine HE has set the limits within which they are to stop.

 
Have the gates of death been shown to you?
    Have you seen the gates of the deepest darkness?
¹⁸ Have you comprehended the vast expanses of the earth?
    Tell me, if you know all this. 

None of us  loves the experience of death.Infact,death catches all of us by surprise.It shutters us up and breaks all of us.it leaves behind broken hearts and empty spaces that no one can fill.But just imagine God knows the gates of death!He is able to open that gate to one family and close it to another family.All by Himself. Will you trust Him because He knows everything that is happenning in your life?Will you allow him a conducive environment to mould you?The moulding process aint easy but imagine he has a reformed you at his heart.He knows why He has allowed shame at such a time.He knows why this season is in your life.He is athe author of seasons.Perhaps in this pain,a destiny is being birthed!Probably in these tears a testimony is being build!Who knows,perhaps  through these struggles,the lord will entrust you with so many people and because He has passed you through storm,you will be careful in handling them!

Our God is ADONAI.He is the master of everything.We do not belong to ourselves but to him and therefore He can do what he wants with us.Afterall our future lies in His hands.We may not know what he has for us ten or twenty years from now but He has a very clear picture of us then.

You have trusted God for a spouse and nothing is forthcoming,Trust God.You have trusted God for a fruit of the womb and it seems dark,do not compromise,hold on to God.Your career seems to be crumbling down,depend on this God and do not take shortcuts.Marriage is troubling you,He is the author of marriages,allow Him to work on both of you ....Whatever the issue it is,Theres a God who knows you better than you know yourself.You belong to him...You are precious and honored in his sight(isaiah 43;4) The very apple of His eye!

Trust Him and do not give up.Depend on him and pour your heart to Him.His understanding no man can fathom(psalm 147;5).He is God all by himself.

His name is ADONAI,THE MASTER OF EVERYTHING!
