Behold,I Will Do a New Thing!

Ever been in a situation that you cannot figure out what it really is?Ever been caught up in deep thoughts that lead to a land with no name or people?How about having  a wandering wondering mind?Have you ever gazed at a building,a bus or people but in real sense you can see nothing?How about looking at your shirt/blouse buttons for like three minutes and you cant really see what they are and of what essense?Have you ever travelled in a bus,theres a preacher giving the word,but you dont even care or hear anything hes saying,you reach your destination but since you are in a world of your own you realize that you are far gone past the normal place you usually alight?How about tossing in bed,sleep has just gone for a sleep over to your neighbours and your cousins the mosquitoes have also gone for a bash next door???You are all alone...but if i was to ask you what you are thinking about you cant really tell.

These things happen and if one is not careful,the chances of slipping into depression are very high.As a believer,what do you do in such times because honestly,all of us go through seasons in life,the only difference is the type of season and the duration the season takes or the time  you as a person take in that season.The lessons learnt in the season play a major role in your life and that gives you knowledge of how to handle much  in future.It is unfortunate that some of us take too long to learn why the lord allowed us go through some seasons and as such,we cannot graduate to the next level UNTIL we learn..It is my prayer that the lord will help you learn your lessons so that you can build up muscles that will help you in the next level of glory.

We are in the ninth month of 2017.Its actually three months to the close of 2017.An year that has had so many things happening.An year that Kenya  has left a legacy of cancelling presidential elections.Yes,an year where some people take to the streets naked as way of celebration,others have died still in the celebration mood,small kids have died courtesy of politics,an year whereby companies have closed down,people have been retrenched,others have been sacked unceremoniously,the cost of living getting out of hand  and so much stuff.Well,its an year whereby christians have prayed like never before.oh an year that even those who have never taken prayer seriously have reconsidered..Yes,the church in Kenya has conducted prayer rallies,prayer groups have been created with the main purpose being PRAYING FOR KENYA...well,we are not yet there,but soon we shall all know what prayer does...It may seem dark...but weeping only tarries for a nigh...and joy comes in the morning..Besides...Them that know their God shall do EXPLOITS.

As a person,i have also had a share of my own issues this year.You may think that i have been spared,what you didnt know is that iam a product of Gods mercies,it is His sufficient grace that has sailed me through.This piece comes to us after a real struggle.I have postponed writing this until i cannot hold it anymore.There is no situation that is permanent.You could be going through issues of life and almost throwing in the towel.Hold on that thought dear..Where is your identity?If your identity is in Christ,theres a hope of a tree that has been cut to sprout again(job 14;7)You need to understand that you do not belong to yourself..You belong to God..you are His,actually,He says that you are an apple of His eye..(Zec 2;8).Beloved,issues could be so tough,getting from bad to worse,the situation could actually be rotting...but look here,the lord God is concerned and is working out things for you.Im reminded of lazarus ..(allow me to slightly digress)In the book of John 11,Lazarus was a friend to Jesus...and after he died,the sisters sent word to jesus concerning their brothers demise...Jesus was out on a mission...if you read the whole chapter,you realize that Jesus took around four days after getting the news to come back to Bethany.By the time he was showing up,Lazarus had already started rotting...infact,there was a foul smell...Now,put yourself in mary and marthas shoes.....do you think they were happy with Jesus?Knowing that He was a healer and he didnt show up pretty fast as the situation demanded to save their brother....They wondered what sort of a friend Jesus was...but dear one,Jesus came when the situation was worst..actually to them,it was beyond correction...but see what Jesus does when He comes...He resurrects their brother!Tell me,what was better,healing a sick man or resurrecting a dead man?Vrs 45 says that many jews believed in Jesus the more....Your situation could be terrible,BUT trust in God who calls things that are not as thou they are...His name is Adonai,the master of Everything

When going through a wilderness,the enemy brings thoughts of despair,giving up,hopelessness and whispers to us that indeed theres nothing good that can come out of us.During this season,many of us are lost in our own thoughts,to apoint of forgetting God.A man of God called Elijah even prayed for his death...He was at the verge of giving up.Listen dear one,The lord is doing a new thing in your life.Yours is stretch forth your faith alittle higher.Purpose to trust God in that storm.Look to God even in that sickness,perhaps you have papers...but you have never secured a job...You are almost regretting why the lord allowed you go to school,betterstill,why Did He allow you to pass.Listen my dear...He is God all by Himself..His plans concerning your life cannot be thwarted(Job 42;2)He knows you by your name.He knows what is best for you..Will he with hold any good thing from them that loves Him???certainly not...Trust God.

Some people have gone through frustrations in life until they do not know how clean air smells...Theirs is a world of frustrations,tears has been their food day and night,people have taken advantage of them,others pretended to help,only to take away their innocence.They have been broken,crushed and life no longer makes sense to them.Darling,the lord cares...look what He says (2nd cor 4;8-12)

  We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; ⁹ persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed..Refer to the AMP version for clarity....He is a caring God.(Isaiah 43;19)Behold,i will do a new thing......Vrs 18 urges us to forget the former things.Yes its a new season...Believe it that God is doing a new thing..It doesn't matter HOW....yours is to believe him...take him at his word.The way He came through for Sarah is not the same way He came through for Hannah,but in both scenarios,the issue of barrenness was solved.

The How is none of your business,Trust God.

The problem with many believers is to try to understand the processes,procedures and guidelines that the lord is gonna use to deliver us..Dear one,you do not need to Understand God...you only need to believe and your situation will never be the same again.Remember the story of the Four lepers (2nd Kings 4;3..20)These people were sick,but they exercised Faith.....The bible says that when they took a step of faith,the lord had caused the army of the Syrians to hear the noise of chariots and noise of horses.Amazing how the steps of four leprous men turned out to sound like horses and chariots.Your situation is not beyond God.Look what He says in Isaiah 43;20,The beast of the field will honor me,The Jackals and the Ostriches,Because i give waters in the wilderness and rivers in The desert.There is no situation that cannot bow before the king of kings...In this month of bringing forth,BELIEVE God...purpose to hope in God,Trust this God who knows the numbers of your hair.A God that knows your beginning from the end,a God that has your name on the palm of His hands.A God whose promises are yea and amen...This God who is not man that He can lie...He doesn't play games...He is the one who carried you through last time,He will surely not disappoint.He has not brought you this far to frustrate you.He has not delivered you from previous situations only to surrender you now to the hands of your enemies.His mercies are new every morning and even if all of us failed to be faithful,He will always be faithful.

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for,The evidence of  things not seen...and without faith,it is impossible to please God: for he that co meth to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarded of them that diligently seek him(Heb 11;6)It is upon you to have faith in God that He will do that which he has promised....Wait on Him.A friend of mine tells mi ....Nao,ushuhuda ni Muhimu..  i will also tell you to guard your identity in Christ...Maintain your testimony dear one...Im so content because i believe He is doing a new thing.Be strong in the lord,hold on to God because this will surely be a September to Remember...im sure HE has already started working out things for you behind the scenes...He is the Captain of your destiny...allow him take the wheel,and you will never regret.He is the unchanging God...He is surely doing a new thing.
