What seeds Are You Sowing?

It surprises me how time flies!Just the other day we were celebrating new year and alas,we are almost closing 2017.Have you taken stock of the issues of your life so far and whats the progress?Afew years ago,one of my favorite lecturers told us to always make sure we reflect.Reflection helps in keeping checks over your life.It is through reflection that you are able to make ammends as well as get the motivation to press on with  the things that really matter as far as you are concerned.Better still,through reflection,you call an immediate meeting with yourself,take the minutes,and make referrals where necessary.It is in place of reflection that you swallow your pride,seek for forgiveness to people you have offended as well as make things right with your maker.For how can two walk together unless they agree?

Well,we are in the eighth month of the year.It is the month of new beginnings.Its my hope that you have properly positioned yourself to what the lord wants to begin in your life as well as aligned your faith to His.Isaiah43;19)Behold, I will do a new thing,now it shall spring forth:shall you not know it?It is my prayer that you shall be careful enough to understand your season and that the blessings of God wont bypass you either because of your ignorance or your lack of faith.That said and done,theres something that has really triggered afew checks here and there in my life and im sure you would like to hear what it is.Perhaps you will be helped or you will use it to help a friend,In this regard,ensure you share the link to two or three friends☺

Did you know that we are sowing seeds in everything we do?Yes,we sow seeds daily whether we are doing right or wrong.As we all know,when a seed is sown,it germinates and later on grows to abig tree(thanks to our kidergatten teachers.)This reminds me of the class gardens we used to have back in those days.....This sowing of seeds is done consciously or unconsciously and the bitter truth is that the seed will however grow.

In your character or in whatever you do,what seeds are you sowing?Will you be comfortable with the fruits?

As a christian,we all know that a day is coming and we shall all make an account of what we did whether right or wrong.None of us will escape the judgement seat of God.The bible is very clear on this that every knee shall bow and every toungue confesss........but before then,in this world we are living in.....will you be comfortable seeing your fruits?

My dear,pull a seat,bring the popcorns and let us talk.When perusing my small bible afew days ago,i bumped into Joshua 7;1-20.In this context,theres a guy by the name Achan the son of Carmi.This guy Achan decided to hid some of the accursed things and from this,and out of his queer behaviour,he made about three thousand men to be killed by the enemy,and the Lord was soo bitter with Joshua and his people.When you read through the whole chapter,three things are so clear.

1.Greed

2.Disobedience

3.Deceit

Before we maul and throw stones to Achan,how many of us can confidently stand,their nose and shoulders high and defend themselves of falling prey to the highlighted?Majority of us are sowing seeds of greed.How many people have died due to land issues just because someone grabbed their land,has more powers to manipulate tall people in the government and when the affected try seeking for their right,they are murdered???Lets not even go there...How many of us badmouth others,paint a bad picture of others so that we may get that promotion at work,get that tender or even get a particular position for our own selfish gain?My dear,if you have sowed any seed of Greed,run to the throne of grace,repent and live clean because if you dont,this will haunt the generations behind you.

Disobedience.This is a noun as we all know.Refusal to obey authority..How many of us choose to obey?

Simple as it is,majority of us do not want to obey God and live right.In this regard,allow me to address my sisters.Dear one,pretty as you are,you know God hates immorality...but you just choose to disobey.What are you doing in a relationship with a married man?you know God does not approve sexual sins...yet thats your in thing.will you please repent!Some of us  are living compromised lives..We are very clean on sundays but if someone was to trace our footsteps from monday to saturday,they can only blackout.Dear one,sow the right seeds and you wont regret.

Deceit.How many of us are living a lie???How many seeds have you sowed out of deceit?My brother,we all know that you are born again but if we were asked to bring a professional lier,then you could get a nobel prize for that.So many of us are hiding in salvation...We clearly know that you are a born again brother,but goodness,the many sisters you have broken their hearts!You never care of peoples feelings and emotions.You are a neither here nor there christian.In the public,we perceive you are a seriously born again christian but even the devil can testify of the many recruits you've done to his kingdom.Run to God for salvation my brother.

We cannot continue living in sin dear ones.We have a generation to take care of.We wanna lead clean lives for the generations behind us .There are so many issues that we are caught up in,and if we are not careful,the generations behind us will pay dearly.Look at Vashti in (esther1;12)she sowed the seeds of pride and we can see what that led to.Jezebel sowed seeds of idol worship...we all know the results.Joseph sowed seeds of faithfulnes...this saved his entire generation.Look at David,even after repenting of his sexual sin,the lord caught up with him..We cannot afford to live carelessly.Purpose to change.

It being the month of new beginnings,allow the spirit of God to convict you on the areas of your life  that really annoy the lord,then repent.Theres grace my dear to redeem you once more.Remember we are all given the power of choice.Choose to live right.Choose to sow the right seeds and though we may not see what you are sowing,the fruits are inevitable and we shall confidently take pride in what you brought forth.
