When The Books Will Be Opened!

He changes times and seasons; he deposes kings and raises up others. He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to the discerning(Daniel;21)It is very easy to bypass these words when reading your bible, but am amazed that this is what literally happens in life!Seasons come and go and many of us tend to be carried away very swiftly by the issues of life.As Solomon puts it in Ecclesiastes 3,theres a time for everything,a season for every activity under the sun. While some of us waste time in complaining of every season, others optimize every opportunity in that season and mind you many are elevated even in what may seem to you as a dark moment in life.

I tend to believe that one mans meat is another mans poison. For instance, during this tough seaon in our country when doctors downed their tools, most of the private hospitals and clinics are getting business(although many are taking advantage of it). That clinic in your village where none of you could even dare know who the dotor is and what services are available there has become soo relevant today! While many of us are buying water, those who have boreholes are really counting their blessings..naming them one by one☺☺

There comes a time in life where people no longer live in harmony with others.Everyone carries on his life individually, worse off to even get bothered of his/her relatives. How many times do we hear of people being murdered in their apartments, stay there for a week or two before anyone notices that he/she has gone missing. The stench from his bedroom window is what screams too loud to capture the attention of the residents...alas when its too late. What happened to those days when everone mattered even to the society?

When growing up,i happened to live with my aunt for the better part of my primary school.Every Sunday morning,i could hear a bell rang, notifying people that its time for church. An old man usually passed via my aunts house and he would call out, please hurry,or else you get late for church.People back then honored the Sabbath and had reverence for God.No one would miss church unless sick.Nowadays,no one is bothered.Worse off some of us who have grown up in the village, given an opportunity to live in town gives us a leeway to violate every rule. Many feel very free and the mandatory church services back at home becomes something else....its a time of re-union with our old friends,partying,etc...only to resurface once we go home to see our parents...pretending to be the'good people'that we have  always been at home!

Irrespective of every time and season,it is important to be responsible over every choice that one makes.I recently attended a burial and theres something that i took home. The essence of writing your own eulogy while still living! Our lives right now reflect who we are and how we live with people determines the kind of a person we are.Your relationship with the society is what makes you.Living an exemplary life. Will your generation trace your footsteps?or at some point they will need a torch to try trace them?

The lord himself keeps record of what we do every minute, every second. He is the best record keeper i know.He is not like the earthly systems whereby today you will be told your file is missing and tomorrow you are told the boss left with it.With God,nothing gets missing. The records in His book is what will determine your fate, when Christ comes for the church. What could the world be like if we all lived right? No thieves.no pickpocketers,no murderers,no alshabaab...etc.

Dear one, ensure that your record is clean in heaven. And books were opened. Another book was opened, which is the book of life. The dead were judged according to what they had done as recorded in the books.(Rev 20;12b)

Ensure your record is Clean!
